President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received former British Prime Minister and Chairman of the Institute for Global Change Tony Blair on June 25.

During the meeting, the sides discussed further development of practical cooperation with the institute to provide expert support for reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan.

Tony Blair highly appreciated the consistency and scale of transformations in New Uzbekistan. The significance of the recent Tashkent International Investment Forum was particularly emphasized, as it has proven to be an effective platform for strengthening the country's investment attractiveness, actively developing business ties, and promoting promising initiatives.

The main priorities for further interaction were defined as implementation of joint projects in key economic sectors, attraction of leading international technology companies and major strategic investors, as well as acceleration of digital transformation, including the introduction of advanced innovative solutions.
