President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree awarding the 'Mard Oglon' State Prize to 28 young Uzbek citizens who have achieved outstanding success in science, education, medicine, culture, arts, sports, manufacturing, military service, and law enforcement.
According to the document, the prize recognizes representatives from all regions of the country. Each laureate will receive a diploma, a badge, and a cash reward equivalent to 50 times the base calculation value.
The list of laureates includes: Rakhim Allashov and Nodirbek Alimbaev (Karakalpakstan), Oybek Teshaboev and Doniyorbek Xursanov (Andijan region), Daler Rakhimov and Sherali Mustakimov (Bukhara region), Jakhongir Zokirov and Javokhir Abdukhalikov (Jizzakh region), Javokhir Khudoykulov and Dilshodbek Yuldoshev (Kashkadarya region), Khayot Istamov and Khazrat Salimjonov (Navoi region), Elmurad Astanaliev and Umidjon Karimov (Namangan region), Shokhzodbek Elbekov and Dilshodjon Khudoyberdiev (Samarkand region), Otabek Kholmatov and Bektosh Musurmonkulov (Syrdarya region), Najmiddin Kosimkhojiev and Sarvar Noraliev (Surkhandarya region), Aytjan Khalmakhanov and Yevgeniy Larin (Tashkent region), Kudratbek Makhamadjonov and Shukhratjon Mukhamadkhanov (Fergana region), Artur Rajapov and Kodirbergan Aminboev (Khorezm region), Khumoyun Begmuratov and Pakhlavon Gulomov (Tashkent city).
The government has been tasked with ensuring broad media coverage of the laureates' activities and achievements. Control over the implementation of the decree has been assigned to Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and Presidential Advisor Gayrat Mirzaev.
