Officials attributed the low cost to effective use of digital technologies and optimization of organizational expenses. The census covered 97.3% of the country's population, with total expenditures reaching approximately $4.6 million.

While the government touts this as a success in cost-saving, critics question whether such minimal spending compromises data accuracy and completeness. The census is crucial for policy planning and resource allocation.
