Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. A fire occurred at a grocery store located in the Urikzor market in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent. The emergency call was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations at 04:26.

According to the ministry's press service, firefighters arrived at the scene within nine minutes. The blaze was contained by 04:48 and fully extinguished by 05:01.

The fire damaged approximately 150 square meters of retail space. No casualties were reported. The cause of the fire and the extent of damages are under investigation.

Earlier, fires were reported in a multi-story residential building in the capital and at the sports complex of the Agrarian University in Kibray. Specialists are working to determine the causes of both fires and assess the damage.
