A summer linguistic scientific-methodological school has opened in Smolensk for philology students from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. The program is designed for future teachers of the Russian language.
The main goal of the school is to support the professional start of foreign Russian language specialists, introducing them to modern teaching methods, the Russian educational environment, and culture.
The project is being implemented on the basis of Smolensk State University. The opening ceremony was attended by the future teachers themselves.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan had summed up the results of humanitarian cooperation with Russia for 2025. Among the areas mentioned were educational projects, cultural initiatives, and the introduction of new methods of teaching Russian in schools and universities.
