In the Kibray district of the Tashkent region, three individuals who drove vehicles without a driver's license have been brought to legal responsibility. One of them turned out to be a minor, according to the Road Safety Service of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
According to the department, a case was also identified where a mother gave her car to her daughter who did not have the right to drive.
“Of particular concern is another identified fact: a mother gave her car to her daughter who does not have the right to drive, thereby deliberately endangering not only her life but also the safety of other road users,” the statement said.
The department reminded that transferring a vehicle to a person without a driver's license is a violation of legal requirements.
The department urged parents and car owners not to allow individuals without the appropriate right, especially minors, to drive vehicles.
