Tashkent has updated its street and public space panoramas, preparing about 130,000 new images that reflect changes in urban infrastructure and the emergence of new facilities.

The large-scale city photography for the Yandex Maps service was conducted by Yandex with support from the Tashkent city administration. During the shooting, a special vehicle traveled about 3,400 kilometers along the city's streets and roads, resulting in approximately 130,000 new panoramas covering both central streets and popular public spaces.

The updated version includes images of several well-known city landmarks, such as the New Uzbekistan Park, Magic City amusement park, Tashkent City Mall, and the Olympic Village. Panoramas of Amir Temur Avenue, Shota Rustaveli Street, Babur Street, Furkat Street, and other districts have also been refreshed.

According to the city administration, up-to-date images help more accurately reflect changes in the urban environment—from new facilities to road network development—making navigation more convenient and accessible.

With the panoramas, users can pre-study routes, find entrances to buildings, locate organizations and landmarks, and see how different areas of the city have changed.

Additionally, the service allows virtual tours of Tashkent, including Amir Temur Square, Mustaqillik Square, the Tashkent TV Tower, Chorsu Bazaar, the Hazrati Imam complex, and the Minor Mosque.
