Uzbekistan has introduced a new measure to compensate part of the tuition fees for children of medical and pharmaceutical workers who have at least 15 years of service in state institutions.

The compensation applies to undergraduate programs at state higher education institutions. It covers 30% of the annual contract amount, but not exceeding 15 times the base calculation value.

This initiative aims to support medical and pharmaceutical workers and their families. Previously, Uzbekistan approved a procedure for providing housing subsidies to certain categories of medical workers.
