Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held separate meetings with the heads of diplomatic missions from several foreign countries. The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its further development. The minister reported the outcomes of the negotiations on his Telegram channel.
During the meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador Rashad Mamedov, issues of maintaining a high dynamic of political dialogue, expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as implementing joint projects in transport and logistics were discussed.
In a meeting with Argentine Ambassador Enrique Ignacio Ferrera Vieyra, the sides discussed intensifying political dialogue, strengthening institutional interaction between foreign ministries, and developing trade and economic cooperation as one of the key pillars of bilateral relations.
At the meeting with Gambian Ambassador Alkali Fank Conteh, special attention was paid to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with African states and developing trade and economic ties.
With Portuguese Ambassador Sara Martins, the implementation of agreements reached during the visit of the Uzbek delegation to Lisbon in April this year, the development of economic diplomacy, and the strengthening of interregional cooperation were discussed.
During the meeting with Finnish Ambassador Johanna Maria Ögren, issues of expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as developing direct contacts between business circles of the two countries were discussed.
Bakhtiyor Saidov wished the new ambassadors success in their diplomatic missions in Uzbekistan.
