The National Agency for Social Protection under the President has launched a short helpline number 1246 to report cases of violence against children. The press service of the agency announced this.
The agency urged citizens to immediately contact the helpline when witnessing the following situations: physical violence, psychological pressure, sexual violence, neglect, and other forms of violation of children's rights.
The agency emphasized that the caller's identity will be kept confidential. Currently, the call center is operating in test mode.
“Every child has the right to grow up in a safe and loving environment… Your single call can change a child's life. Let's protect children together,” the agency's message reads.
