On July 28, at a public hearing held by the Anti-Corruption Agency, it was announced that disciplinary action had been taken against the governors of Kushrabat and Kattakurgan districts. According to Abdukhamid Kamilov, head of the agency's department, a formal submission was made on February 26 regarding these officials.

An internal investigation revealed that the governors had been negligent in their duties and failed to adequately fulfill their responsibilities. Based on the recommendation of the Ethics Commission, the regional governor imposed a reprimand on Kattakurgan district governor Nasriddinov, Kushrabat district governor Shakarboyev, and his deputy for investment Khaydarov.

According to the agency's March 2026 report, officials from these district administrations had sent not only close relatives but also employees unrelated to the trips on business travel. Specifically, for a seminar in China for professional farmers from Central Asian countries, the driver of the Kushrabat district governor, M.T., and the governor's son, D.D., were sent.

Furthermore, for specialized training courses on 'Agricultural Development and Processing Organization' in China, a delegation of 32 people included the Kushrabat district governor's spouse, M.Sh., and a close relative of another official, Ch.H., without justification. It was also found that N.X. and M.S., listed as employees of Technical School No. 1, did not actually work there.

The Kattakurgan district administration organized a business trip to China from May 22-30, 2025, to implement investment projects, including an employee with no direct connection to the trip's objectives. According to the publication 'Kun.uz', photos from the China trip showed the minor son of district governor Jamshid Nasriddinov, but the agency did not comment on this.

Despite a presidential decree of June 16, 2021, requiring public disclosure of information about foreign business trips of officials, the Kattakurgan and Kushrabat district administrations unjustifiably concealed this information. Earlier, it was reported that in 2025, officials in Samarkand region sent their children, nephews, and relatives to a graduation ceremony in St. Petersburg, resulting in a recovery of 28 million soums and the dismissal of the head of the regional school education department.
