The list includes both large city markets and smaller trading areas, such as Urikzor, Parkent market, "Aviasozlar" (Kadysheva) market, Yangiabad market, Farkhad market, Beshkurgan, and other facilities.

The decision is enshrined in a decree by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on additional measures for the socio-economic development of Tashkent for 2026–2027.

The list includes 35 facilities, including Navruz, Sergeli, Kuilyuk, Karakamysh, and Farkhad markets, the used car and spare parts market in Sergeli, as well as numerous branches of large markets in various districts of the capital.

Before the sale, a master plan and business project will be developed for each facility. The preparation will be handled by JSC Tashkent Invest Kompaniyasi together with the State Assets Management Agency and the Tashkent city administration.

One of the mandatory conditions of the sale will be the creation of modern eco-bazaars, trade-service and entertainment complexes, as well as multi-level parking lots on the sites of the sold facilities.

The document also provides that in the future, other food, specialized, and clothing markets in Tashkent, as well as their branches and vacant spaces, may be put up for open bidding. Decisions on this will be made by the Cabinet of Ministers based on proposals from the capital's administration and the State Assets Management Agency.
