According to Uzgidromet, the hot weather will persist across most of Uzbekistan on August 1-2, with only the northwestern regions seeing a slight cooldown.

On Friday, August 1, daytime temperatures across the country are expected to range between +38°C and +41°C. In the north, south, and desert areas, the mercury could soar to +42°C or even +43°C.

Meteorologists note that these figures are 2-4 degrees above the climatic norm for late July and early August, which could pose health risks for residents.

Saturday and Sunday are expected to be mostly clear with no precipitation. However, some areas may experience gusty winds of up to 13-18 m/s, accompanied by dust storms in certain regions.

Next week, a drop in temperatures is forecast across all regions of Uzbekistan, bringing some relief after the intense heat.

In Tashkent, the weather will be mostly clear with no rain. From July 31 to August 2, daytime temperatures will range from +37°C to +40°C, dropping to +23°C to +26°C at night. Easterly winds of 3-8 m/s are expected.
