The Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement for the Tashkent region and its district departments have been actively pursuing debt collection on behalf of water supply enterprises, based on court decisions and notarial documents.
This year, a total of 4,849 enforcement documents were processed, amounting to 10.4 billion soums. Through enforcement actions, proceedings were completed for 3,306 documents worth 5.7 billion soums.
Of these, debts were actually collected for 2,575 enforcement documents, with total payments reaching 4.3 billion soums. This represents a significant recovery rate, providing much-needed financial relief to the water utilities.
Specifically, in favor of JSC "Toshkent Suv Ta'minoti", 1.6 billion soums were collected under 2,012 enforcement documents; JSC "Musaffo Obihayot Magistral Suv Ta'minoti" received 5 billion soums under 210 documents; and JSC "Toshkent Shahar Suv Ta'minoti" was paid 2.2 billion soums under 341 documents.
The enforcement activities are ongoing. Experts emphasize that debt recovery is crucial for financing the modernization of water infrastructure and ensuring the provision of quality drinking water to the population.
