Over the past two months, 44 modern buses have been delivered to the city of Nukus as part of an effort to renew the public transport fleet, according to the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.

The ministry stated that work is ongoing to develop the public transport system in regions, improve the quality of transport services for residents, and update the rolling stock with modern buses, in line with tasks set by the president.

Specifically, in Nukus, LLC 'Fayz Avangard' brought 32 buses, while LLC 'Mangit Lestorg' delivered 12 modern buses. These new vehicles will be deployed on city routes under gross contracts.

The ministry emphasized that the new buses will help improve the quality of public transport services, ensure comfortable and safe travel for passengers, and further enhance the efficiency of the transport system.

It is worth recalling that in January, the first electric buses for public transport were delivered to Nukus. The total cost of 12 vehicles brought from China by Sapsan Trans Nukus amounted to 24 billion soums.

According to the president's instruction, a total of 200 buses are planned to be delivered to Nukus, and enterprises are currently taking measures to bring them.
