A tragic incident occurred at the beach of the Alisher Navoi National Park in Tashkent, where a four-year-old girl drowned while swimming.
According to the General Prosecutor's Office, the incident took place on August 5 at approximately 4:30 PM. The report was received via the emergency system 102 through the Emergency Medical Services Center.
Preliminary reports indicate that a woman arrived at the beach with her granddaughters, aged 4 and 8, for a swim. During the swim, the younger girl went underwater and drowned.
Emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene and provided first aid to the child, but unfortunately, they could not save her life.
According to specialists, no signs of physical injury were found on the victim's body. A forensic medical examination has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death.
Currently, an investigative team, prosecutor's office staff, and the Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination are conducting verification measures regarding the incident.
