Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. A refereeing team from Uzbekistan, led by Asker Najafaliyev, will officiate a qualifying round match of the AFC Champions League Elite for the 2026/27 season.

The Uzbek referees will referee the match between Adelaide United and Cong An Hanoi on August 11. The main referee will be assisted by Bakhtiyorkhuja Shavkatov and Ruslan Serazitdinov. Abdurashid Khudoyberganov will serve as the reserve referee.

Additionally, Uzbek specialist Valentin Kovalenko will act as the referee inspector for the qualifying stage match between Gangwon and Gamba Osaka.

This appointment highlights the growing reputation of Uzbek football referees on the international stage. They have previously officiated at the Asian Cup and other international tournaments, demonstrating their competence and professionalism.
