Officers from the anti-smuggling department of the specialized customs complex 'Tashkent-AERO' conducted another operational-search activity in the fight against illicit drug trafficking, the State Customs Committee press service reported.
In Tashkent, a vehicle belonging to a citizen under surveillance was stopped and inspected. It was found that a box of children's juice contained 20 packets of narcotics with a total weight of about 11 grams.
Subsequently, a search of the citizen's residence was conducted in the presence of witnesses. There, heroin, mephedrone, marijuana, and other types of drugs were discovered, weighing a total of 3.15 kg.
Following this, operational measures continued, leading to the detention of the individual who was the actual owner of the prohibited substances.
A criminal case has been initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is currently underway.
