Uzbekistan will introduce additional railway, bus, and air services during the upcoming holidays to boost domestic tourism and provide convenient travel options, the Tourism Committee announced.

Trains running from Tashkent to Khiva, Kungrad, Shavat, Termez, and Sariosiyo will have up to four extra carriages attached. Additional high-speed train services will be added on routes from the capital to Samarkand, Bukhara, and Urgench. These trains will operate two days before the holiday and continue for two days after.

Extra intercity bus services will be available on all routes. A reserve area near Tashkent's Southern Station will be allocated three days before the holiday for buses on the Tashkent–Samarkand–Bukhara–Urgench–Nukus routes.

Additional flights are planned two days before the holiday on the Tashkent–Urgench, Tashkent–Nukus, Tashkent–Bukhara, and Tashkent–Termez routes. These measures are expected to increase the number of trips across the country during the festive period.

Earlier, it was reported that extra services would also be launched on weekends and holidays to the Bostanlyk district of the capital.
