The renewed council includes 40 members, representing major businesses, legal and consulting firms, as well as public figures. The council is chaired by the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, D. A. Vakhabov, with the business ombudsman A. A. Buriev as his deputy.
Among the members are founders of companies such as Grand Pharm Trade, Orient-Confection, Anglesey Food, Akfa group, Uztex Group, Murad Buildings, Click, and American Hospital, as well as heads of law firms Veritas Inter Lex and Prae Legal, the founder of United Tax Advisors, and other experts.
The Public Council was established in 2022 following the president's open dialogue with business. Its tasks include public oversight of the implementation of business initiatives, interaction between state bodies, business, and civil society institutions, monitoring of business problems, and preparing proposals to remove barriers to development.
