Nabixon Xo'jayev, known by his pen name Chustiy, was born in February 1904 in the city of Chust, Namangan region. He received his education in old schools and madrasas in Kokand and began writing poetry at the age of 18-20.

From 1930 to 1939, he worked in collective farms and consumer societies, and from 1940 to 1946, he was active at the Muqimi State Musical Drama Theater. He led the Writers' Union in 1944-1945 and later served as a research fellow at the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan from 1970 to 1976, also working as a translator in publishing houses.

His literary output was prolific: his collection 'Gul mavsumi' appeared in 1969, followed by 'G'azallar' in 1977, 'Hayotnoma' in 1988, 'Sadoqat gullari' and 'Ko'ngil tilagi' in 1992-1994, and 'Ko'rguncha xayr endi' in 2004.

Chustiy authored the epic poems 'Bog'i Eram', 'Tirik jannatga kirgan kampir', and 'Kiyiknoma'. He translated works by classical poets such as Khusrav Dehlavi and Sobir Termizi into Uzbek.

The poet passed away on August 13, 1983. In his memory, the newspaper has prepared a quiz for readers to test their knowledge of his life and work.
