On August 30, several regions of Uzbekistan experienced temperatures that matched or exceeded historical maximums recorded in the first half of the last century, according to Uzgidromet, the country's meteorological service.

In Samarkand, the air temperature rose to +38°C, equaling the record set in 1937. Bukhara saw +39.3°C, matching the 1945 figure. The Syrdarya region recorded +38.1°C, the same as on August 30, 2025.

Navoi set a new record with +40.5°C, surpassing the previous high of +38°C set in 2010. This marks the hottest August 30 in the city's history.

On the last day of summer, no precipitation is expected across Uzbekistan. Temperatures will range from +30°C to +35°C, with southern areas reaching +40°C to +42°C in some places.

Winds will blow at 7-12 m/s, with gusts up to 13-18 m/s in some areas, and up to 20-22 m/s in certain regions, potentially causing dust storms.

In Tashkent, temperatures will reach +33°C to +35°C. Winds of 3-8 m/s, with gusts up to 12-14 m/s, may raise dust.

Brief rain is possible in the mountainous areas of Tashkent region, where temperatures will be +25°C to +30°C. Winds there will be 7-12 m/s, with gusts up to 13-18 m/s.
