The head of the Presidential Administration, Said Mirziyoyeva, has stated that Tashkent's rapid growth requires a more balanced approach to the city's further development. She pointed to the need to take into account existing urban planning and environmental challenges in the capital's ongoing expansion.

To this end, Said Mirziyoyeva held a meeting with initiators of several major architectural projects, independent specialists and urbanists, as well as representatives of leading specialized studios and universities. The discussion focused on reducing the burden on urban infrastructure and finding ways to ensure sustainable development.

"Together we have to solve many tasks — from the load on engineering communications and social facilities to issues of energy and water supply," said the head of the Presidential Administration. She noted that new construction should contribute to the city's development without creating additional imbalance and pressure on its infrastructure.

"There are many tasks, and we will help businesses that want to make Tashkent better, more beautiful, cleaner and safer for all its residents and guests. This is exactly in line with the policy of New Uzbekistan," she emphasized. Said Mirziyoyeva added that comprehensive support for businesses focused on developing and improving the urban environment is among the tasks set by the president.

At the end of the meeting, participants expressed their readiness to work together on a long-term development strategy for Tashkent. This step is important for the sustainable and harmonious development of the capital.
