Uzbekistan and South Korea have formed a portfolio of 120 projects with a total value of approximately $4 billion. The announcement came following the Uzbek-Korean business forum held in Seoul.

The new initiatives were discussed during the Uzbek-Korean business forum in Seoul, attended by the President of Uzbekistan. More than 300 representatives from government agencies and businesses of both countries participated, including heads of major industrial enterprises, trading companies, and financial institutions.

The main focus was on expanding investment and technological cooperation. Uzbekistan proposed combining its own resource base, Korean technologies, and the capital of companies from both countries to launch new production facilities and joint projects.

Promising areas cover industry, energy, transport infrastructure, digital technologies, microelectronics, biotechnology, and other sectors. Uzbekistan also stated its readiness to create the necessary conditions for the implementation of each project.

Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan and South Korea agreed to elevate their special strategic partnership to a new level.
