In Tashkent's Almazar district, law enforcement officers detained two men suspected of distributing drugs through a system of stash spots. A total of 50 packets of illegal substances were seized from them.

The special operation was conducted in the courtyard of apartment buildings on Sebzar Street in Almazar district. Law enforcement stopped two suspicious men for inspection. During the search, packets of narcotic substances were found and seized from the detainees and their car.

Examination of the suspects' mobile phones confirmed the distribution scheme. According to the investigation, the men set up stashes in the entrances of residential high-rises — in particular, one packet was hidden inside an electrical panel. After placing the stashes, they sent coordinates to buyers.

A criminal case has been initiated on charges of illegal drug trafficking. Law enforcement continues operational and investigative measures to establish all circumstances and identify possible accomplices.

Earlier in Tashkent, a large transnational drug network was uncovered, whose members stored, packaged, and placed drug stashes, while so-called "athletes" monitored discipline within the group.
