A tragic incident occurred at the Al-Beruni International Boarding School in Tashkent on September 5. A 16-year-old student fell from a fourth-floor window in the dormitory and was hospitalized with severe injuries.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, as reported to UzNews.uz, the incident took place on the school's premises. The young man fell from an upper window of the dormitory building and was immediately provided with medical assistance before being transported to a hospital.

Despite the efforts of medical staff, the teenager died in the hospital ten days later, on September 15. The supervisory authority officially confirmed the death.

Currently, the Almazar District Prosecutor's Office is conducting a pre-investigation inquiry into the incident. The circumstances and causes of the tragedy are being clarified, and all possible angles are being examined.

The school administration and other relevant authorities have so far refrained from additional comments. A legal assessment will be given based on the results of the inquiry.
