A new park with a lake, green zones, walking areas, sports facilities, and children's recreation spaces is planned to be created in the Shaykhantahur district of Tashkent. The head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, inspected the territory of the future park, according to a report by Podrobno.uz.
Mirziyoyeva noted that Tashkent needs more green spaces. According to her, in the hot climate, trees, water bodies, and shaded areas directly affect the quality of life of residents. She emphasized the importance of creating a comfortable urban environment.

The head of the Presidential Administration stressed that such public spaces should be created in all districts of the capital. She also noted the need to preserve existing green areas and create new ecologically clean massifs.
Earlier, it was reported that a tourist "Eco-park" would be built in the Kamalak mahalla of Almalyk with the attraction of about $15 million in direct foreign investment. This project also aims to improve the environmental situation and develop tourism in the region.
