Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. Seven more minors left without parental care in Russia have returned to Uzbekistan. Among them are three children whose mothers, serving sentences in places of detention, handed them over to representatives of Uzbekistan.

The next group of children arrived in Uzbekistan on September 15. Their return was organized by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, and the National Agency for Social Protection, with the assistance of the Children's Ombudsman and Uzbek consular offices in Russia.

This was the third group as part of a service trip to return minors from Russia. In total, during the work in this country, 30 children were returned, and two more from Kazakhstan.

After returning, specialists are engaged in the further placement of the children. First, they try to return the children to their families. If this is impossible, they look for other forms of placement.

The children are also provided with necessary medical, psychological, and social assistance. Their condition will be monitored by "Inson" centers. Specialists will accompany the children and families, helping them through the adaptation period.

Work continues: a trip to Georgia is being prepared to return one child, and negotiations are underway with Turkey on the repatriation of minors.
