While the world's best grandmasters compete at the 46th World Chess Olympiad in Samarkand, ordinary chess fans now have their own reason to sit down at an online board. Uzbekistan is hosting a National Campaign in support of its chess team. Mobiuz joined the campaign in its own way – offering subscribers not just to cheer, but to play.

The MobiChess online tournament launches directly in the Mobiuz mobile app on the idChess platform, the technology partner of the Uzbekistan Chess Federation. A total of four stages are planned (September 25, October 9, October 23, November 13) plus a final tournament (November 27). Each stage lasts two hours, from 19:00 to 21:00 Tashkent time.

Before a stage begins, participants must play at least 10 user games on the platform. This serves as a qualification and a way to get comfortable with the interface before the timer starts. The games are played in "Arena" format: each game lasts a maximum of five minutes, then a new opponent is immediately sought. A win earns 2 points, a draw 1 point, and a loss 0 points. The player with the most points over two hours wins. In case of a tie, the strength of opponents determines the placement.

The prize fund grows from stage to stage. The first stage has a prize fund of 16 million soums, the second – 24 million soums, the third – 30 million soums, and the fourth – 50 million soums. The winner of the final tournament will receive 40 million soums, with silver and bronze medalists receiving 25 million and 15 million soums respectively. Additionally, each stage raffles off internet packages of 30 GB, 10 GB, and 5 GB.

Registration for the first stage is open until 23:59 on September 24. To join, simply download or update the Mobiuz app, log in, go to the MobiChess section, play 10 games, and enter the "Arena" on the tournament day at 19:00.
