The maximum salary of a Tashkent city bus driver can reach 17 million soums per month. Representatives of Toshshahartransxizmat announced this at a press conference. The final amount depends on the bus type, length of service, qualifications, hours worked, schedule compliance, and quality of work.

The highest maximum payment is provided for drivers of 18-meter King Long buses – about 17 million soums. For MAN and Mercedes drivers, it can reach 15.9 million, methane Yutong – 15 million, Yutong electric buses – almost 15 million, Isuzu and SAZ – about 13.5 million soums. This refers specifically to the maximum amount when all established indicators are met.

The calculation takes into account actual hours worked, night and holiday work, length of service, and qualifications. A separate part of the income depends on KPIs: route completion, traffic rules compliance, absence of accidents, discipline, stopping at designated places, and schedule adherence. For example, for over 20 years of service, a 50% bonus is provided, and for the first driver category – 25%.

Control is carried out via GPS, cameras, and a bus monitoring system. The company emphasized that the tariff rate itself is significantly lower than the maximum payment: for example, for King Long it is about 5 million soums, and the final salary increases due to allowances and bonuses.

Earlier, it was reported that the fare in Tashkent public transport was proposed to be increased from 1,700 to 2,500 soums when paying by electronic card.
