In the Tashkent region and the capital, during a large-scale operational and preventive operation called "Koradory-2026", law enforcement officers stopped the activities of several individuals involved in illegal drug trafficking and seized about 2 kilograms of prohibited substances.

In particular, in the Bektemir district, officers of the Operational Search Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained two brothers born in 1965 and 1961, previously convicted under various articles of the Criminal Code. Acting on the instructions of a drug shop curator in an "Orlando" car, they took 550 grams of the synthetic drug mephedrone from a hiding place, after which they were detained with material evidence.

During further measures in the capital, law enforcement officers stopped a car driven by a citizen born in 1992. During inspection, 202 grams of mephedrone were found on him. During a search of the suspect's residence, another 200 grams of the same substance were seized, as well as electronic scales, insulating tape, and zip bags. Later in the same district, security forces detained a pawnbroker who tried to take 50 grams of a synthetic drug from a hiding place.

In addition, in the Sergeli district, a minor girl born in 2008 was detained. At her place of residence, law enforcement officers found and seized 280 grams of alpha-PVP, 300 grams of mephedrone, and 81 grams of hashish.

In total, during the conducted measures, the distribution of about 2 kilograms of narcotic substances was prevented. A criminal case was initiated on this fact under paragraph "a" of part 6 of article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Large-scale measures to combat drug crime in the republic continue.
