Pakistan-based conglomerate Vision Group is reportedly planning to implement a large-scale investment project in the New Tashkent area, encompassing residential complexes, green spaces, and commercial hubs. To discuss the terms and potential framework of construction, the parties have agreed to organize a specialized working group visit to Uzbekistan.

According to reports from the 'Dunyo' news agency, these matters were allegedly discussed during negotiations between Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Pakistan Alisher Tukhtayev and the management of Vision Group. During the meeting, foreign representatives were supposedly briefed on the New Tashkent master plan, alongside various incentives allegedly provided to foreign investors in the construction sector.

The Pakistani side was informed that the local authorities are channeling substantial state funds into establishing critical infrastructure and social facilities within the new urban development. It is claimed that over $2 billion has already been invested, with a total of 20,000 hectares allocated for New Tashkent, and projects worth $50 billion envisioned for the initial 6,000-hectare phase.

Representatives of Vision Group reportedly expressed interest, viewing New Tashkent as an attractive investment destination. The proposed project purportedly features modern residential buildings, recreational parks, dining outlets, and entertainment centers. Concluding the talks, the parties agreed to arrange a delegation visit to Uzbekistan for a formal presentation, though specific financial figures and construction timelines remain undisclosed.
