A significant wave of administrative changes has swept through the governance structure of Uzbekistan's capital, affecting multiple municipal districts. Reports indicate that Nilufar Allabergenova, who previously served as the governor (hokim) of the Yakkasaray district, has been relieved of her duties and has returned to the prosecutor's office system. According to an official decree issued by the Prosecutor General, senior justice counselor Nilufar Anvarovna Allabergenova has been appointed as the deputy prosecutor of Tashkent city. The country's General Prosecutor's Office formally confirmed this transition.

For context, the experienced legal professional Nilufar Allabergenova was born in Tashkent in 1971 and graduated from the Tashkent State Law Institute in 1995. Throughout her extensive career within the legal sector, she has held various responsible positions, including serving as deputy prosecutor in several major districts of the capital such as Yashnabad, Chilanzar, and Mirzo Ulugbek, thereby accumulating considerable expertise in law enforcement and oversight.

It is worth recalling that Allabergenova was originally appointed as the head of the Yakkasaray district on October 9, 2023. At the time, her appointment generated substantial public interest and media coverage, as she became the very first female district governor in the history of Tashkent. Her tenure at the helm of the district involved overseeing local infrastructure projects and addressing various social and economic challenges faced by residents.

Notably, this high-profile appointment was part of a broader administrative shakeup across the capital. Over the course of the same day, leadership changes were announced in three other Tashkent districts. Specifically, Chilanzar District Governor Saidqahhor Xolxoʻjayev was replaced by Hayot Inogʻomov, who previously managed the Yangihayot district. Consequently, Lazizbek Temirov stepped in as the new governor of Yangihayot. In addition, Baxtiyor Rahmonqulov departed from his position as Yashnabad district governor, with Abdulaziz Abdulhakov taking over the role.
