Administrative changes have taken place in the capital of Uzbekistan, as Akmal Djumaboyev officially assumed the role of head of the Yakkasaroy district administration in Tashkent. Prior to this appointment, he served as the first deputy khokim of the Sergeli district, overseeing finance, economic development, and poverty reduction initiatives.

Born in 1987 in the Parkent district of the Tashkent region, Djumaboyev has a background in transport infrastructure. He graduated from the Tashkent Automobile and Road Institute in 2011 and subsequently completed his master's degree at the same institution in 2013.

Throughout his career, Djumaboyev has held various responsible positions within youth organizations and the public administration system. Since 2021, he concentrated heavily on municipal finance and economic reforms while leading the Sergeli district's department of economy and finance.

In his new capacity, Djumaboyev succeeds Nilufar Allabergenova, who has transitioned to a new role within the legal system and was previously appointed as the deputy prosecutor of Tashkent.
