A deeply concerning incident has shaken the Almazar district of the Uzbek capital, where a sixteen-year-old girl allegedly took her own life. The grim discovery was reportedly made by her younger brother, shedding light on potential underlying social and psychological pressures affecting minors in the region.

According to the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office of Uzbekistan, emergency services received an alert via the 112 hotline on October 12 at approximately 18:12 local time. The event reportedly unfolded at a residential address on Chukursoy Street within the 'Ibrohim ota' mahalla.

Preliminary findings suggest that the victim's younger brother was initially unable to enter the residence because the front door was locked from the inside. Driven by concern, he allegedly accessed the interior through a balcony, where he subsequently discovered his sister hanging. Emergency medical personnel dispatched to the scene officially pronounced the teenager dead upon arrival.

Authorities have initiated a comprehensive inquiry to establish the precise sequence of events and factors leading up to the tragedy. Official oversight continues as investigators examine all available evidence surrounding the case.
