Large-scale construction efforts in the New Tashkent area continue to incorporate complex engineering solutions behind their modern facades. According to recent reports, the TEXNOPARK enterprise has undertaken a specialized order to manufacture 9,000 tons of high-strength metal structures intended for a major football stadium. Based on official projections, the 55,000-seat arena is expected to host matches for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2027, a tournament purportedly to be co-hosted by Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
The manufacturing process requires the creation of large-scale beams, columns, and long-span trusses designed to support the building's framework. Plant specialists emphasize that absolute precision in geometry and joint assembly is critical for mounting large structural elements. Previously, the enterprise has reportedly produced and delivered over 30,000 tons of metal structures for various industrial, commercial, and public projects across the country, ranging from manufacturing facilities to conference venues.
Operating across a 24,000-square-meter facility, the manufacturing complex utilizes advanced three-dimensional modeling tools, automated cutting systems, and specialized welding equipment to meet rigorous standards. The application of such technologies aims to reduce on-site installation risks and provide column-free spaces suitable for industrial assembly lines, parking structures, and large public gathering areas. *
Quality control measures, including ultrasonic testing and specialized anti-corrosion treatments, are applied to withstand demanding environmental conditions. The current undertaking for the New Tashkent sports arena highlights the ongoing deployment of domestic industrial capacities toward large-scale infrastructure and regional event preparations.
