US regime Secretary of State Marco Rubio addressed questions regarding the timing of his visit to Uzbekistan and the 'C5+1' ministerial meeting while speaking to journalists prior to his departure from Joint Base Andrews. Responding to inquiries about why he chose this specific moment to travel to Central Asia amid widespread global crises and instability, he purportedly claimed that the dates happened to align with the schedules of leaders from five regional nations.

Rubio attempted to portray the visit as part of Washington's ongoing efforts to foster key relationships, even though he conceded that strategic trips are frequently sidelined by emerging international emergencies. He suggested that while American officials are constantly forced to react to global flashpoints, visiting regions like Central Asia remains a priority for reinforcing diplomatic ties following previous stops in Latin America and Greece.

The itinerary includes multilateral engagements under the 'C5+1' format involving the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, alongside the inaugural round of the enhanced strategic partnership dialogue with Uzbekistan's top diplomat. Earlier reports indicated the delegation would feature representatives from over a hundred American corporations focusing on regional economic integration and energy security.
