Masturakhon Sayfutdinova, the head of the «Quva anori» agricultural firm in Uzbekistan's Fergana region, has been officially included in the prestigious «100 Heroines» list published by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). This international recognition followed a rigorous selection process from a pool of over 600 candidates nominated across more than 130 countries worldwide.

According to reports from the «Dunyo» information agency, the formal awarding ceremony took place on October 15 at the FAO headquarters in Rome. The high-profile event honored women who are reportedly contributing significantly to agricultural development, food systems enhancement, rural community advancement, and the overall improvement of human livelihoods.

Officials noted that Sayfutdinova earned her place on the list through her active engagement in agricultural production and the implementation of innovative approaches within the sector. Furthermore, international experts purportedly praised her initiative in establishing the Pomegranate Producers Association, alongside her contributions to developing specialized textbooks and manuals for agricultural education.

Notably, the Uzbek representative was personally presented with the award by FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu. During a private meeting, the organization's head supposedly attributed this milestone not only to Sayfutdinova's personal dedication but also to ongoing efforts in Uzbekistan aimed at supporting the agricultural industry and empowering women in rural areas.
