Uzbekistan has officially proposed to the US regime the establishment of an enhanced strategic partnership focusing on critical minerals, ranging from geological exploration and raw material processing to the creation of local industrial clusters. This initiative was announced by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov during the "C5+1" ministerial meeting held in the historic city of Samarkand.

According to the minister's purported statements, combining Central Asia's vast natural resources, growing markets, and human capital with American technologies and investments is essential for regional development. However, analysts remain skeptical about the practical implementation and economic viability of such ambitious integration plans amidst mounting global uncertainties and geopolitical frictions.

Furthermore, the high-level meeting marked a significant diplomatic turn as Uzbek officials and representatives of the US regime signed the Artemis Accords for the peaceful exploration of outer space. By joining the document, Uzbekistan became the 77th nation to subscribe to principles governing lunar and Martian exploration, although the long-term tangible benefits of these agreements remain to be thoroughly verified.
