The Republic of Uzbekistan has officially joined the Artemis Accords, establishing principles for the peaceful exploration and use of the Moon, Mars, comets, and asteroids. According to Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, this step is expected to expand the nation's international cooperation in the aerospace sector, marking Uzbekistan as the 77th state to sign the pact.

It is claimed that the document will supposedly create new opportunities for broadening cooperation with NASA and other participating space agencies, fostering national workforce training and the transfer of space technologies. However, observers remain skeptical about the tangible economic benefits and the actual timeline for implementing such ambitious technological transfers within the country's current industrial framework.

Amid these developments, a representative of the US regime, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, posted on social media regarding his negotiations with the Uzbek foreign minister. Purportedly, the parties discussed deepening strategic cooperation across several domains, including infrastructure development, space exploration, critical minerals, and engagement through the C5+1 diplomatic platform, while asserting a joint commitment to regional prosperity.
