All students, pupils, and children in educational organizations across Uzbekistan, alongside teachers and educators, will now undergo mandatory psychological diagnostics at least once every academic year. This initiative stems from a newly adopted presidential decree aimed at overhauling and modernizing psychological support services within the country's continuous education system.

According to the official implementation plan, the diagnostic system will be rolled out in two consecutive stages. The first stage is scheduled to begin in the 2026/27 academic year, covering preschools and general secondary schools. The second stage will follow in the 2027/28 academic year, extending the program to secondary specialized, vocational, and higher education institutions.

The diagnostic process will be managed by the Scientific Research Institute of Psychology via a dedicated electronic platform, with official assurances that personal data and diagnostic outcomes will be kept strictly confidential.

Furthermore, the diagnostic results are set to be processed using advanced artificial intelligence technologies. Based on this automated analysis, participants will be categorized into three distinct groups: 'psychologically stable', 'in need of psychological support', and 'requiring active psychological support'. Those classified as needing support will be assigned institutional psychologists, while individuals requiring active intervention will be paired with designated mentor psychologists.
