President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has issued a congratulatory address to the nation on the occasion of Uzbek Language Day, emphasizing the profound role of the native language in everyday life and social development. The head of state allegedly stated that the true progress of a language is measured by practical outcomes, such as a child's ability to express thoughts fluently, a student's comprehension of complex academic subjects, and a citizen's clear understanding of official documentation.

The address highlights the necessity of honoring ancestral heritage while enriching the language with modern scientific terminology, technological advancements, and creative works. Furthermore, the leadership supposedly maintains that strengthening interethnic harmony and friendship across the country relies heavily on mutual respect for the languages and cultural traditions of all constituent groups. Efforts to support the development of Karakalpak and other regional languages are allegedly being implemented in tandem with expanding opportunities to learn Uzbek.

Special emphasis was placed on expanding the presence of the Uzbek language within the digital environment. The president pointed to the urgent need for developing reliable electronic dictionaries, advanced translation tools, and speech-to-text technologies. In alignment with inclusive societal standards, these digital resources must purportedly remain accessible to persons with disabilities, ensuring broad usability across education, labor, and daily routines.

Finally, the leadership stressed that state institutions must set an example in linguistic clarity and literacy. Laws, decrees, and official correspondence ought to be drafted in a coherent and easily understandable manner to prevent citizens from facing unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles. The president reportedly concluded by urging all citizens to cherish their native tongue and contribute actively to its global promotion.
