President Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid a working visit to the Guzar district of the Kashkadarya region, where the enterprise "Qashqadaryo Jingu" is cultivating cotton using advanced Xinjiang agricultural technologies. During the inspection, the state leader was demonstrated innovative methods applied in seed planting, irrigation, and crop maintenance, showcasing the practical integration of foreign agricultural methodologies in the region.

Across an area of 2.2 thousand hectares, cotton seeds have been sown in double rows beneath protective film, while the irrigation process has been entirely converted to a drip system. The application of film effectively retains soil moisture and heat, securing early and uniform crop emergence. Furthermore, the targeted delivery of water and fertilizers directly to the plant roots reduces water consumption by 30 to 40 percent and fertilizer usage by nearly 30 percent, accelerating the crop ripening process by 10 to 15 days compared to traditional methods.

The President also reviewed the harvest results and the integration of agricultural drones, which significantly accelerate field operations and reduce fuel consumption. Implementation of the Xinjiang methodology reportedly enables yields of up to 60–70 centners per hectare, a substantial increase from the standard 30–35 centners. The enterprise's fields achieved an average yield of 55 centners per hectare, resulting in a total raw cotton collection of 12.3 thousand tons.

The "Qashqadaryo Jingu" agricultural cluster, established with the involvement of Chinese investments, spans 18.3 thousand hectares across several districts in the region, utilizing large tracts of previously abandoned and barren lands. Total investments in the project have reached $128 million, creating 50 jobs and generating $8.5 million in export revenues, alongside ongoing strategic reports regarding regional agricultural development.
