A Tashkent region court has reviewed a controversial criminal case stemming from an incident where a woman discovered her husband, a local prevention inspector, inside an official residence with an underage girl. The confrontation quickly escalated into violence, with the wife allegedly physically assaulting the young victim and inflicting bodily injuries out of rage.

According to court records, the female suspect, identified as X.T. born in 1993, went to the service apartment located in the Pakhtakor makhalla on May 10, 2026. Testifying in court, she admitted that upon opening the door with a spare key, she found her husband and a young female hiding inside. Overcome by anger, she struck the girl multiple times both inside the apartment and later in the street. The suspect pleaded for leniency, claiming she was supposedly unaware of the victim's underage status.

However, testimony provided by the underage victim in the presence of her legal representative introduced severe allegations into the proceedings. The victim claimed that the prevention inspector had allegedly used intimidation tactics to force her into a sexual relationship over an extended period. She stated that on the day of the incident, the officer picked her up, brought her to the service home, and the confrontation occurred shortly after the officer's wife arrived and discovered them.

The case has drawn significant public scrutiny regarding the conduct of law enforcement personnel within the region. While the judicial process addresses the immediate charges of assault, the broader implications of the alleged abuse of authority continue to be evaluated by the relevant authorities amidst ongoing societal concerns.
