Authorities in Tashkent have announced a temporary suspension of natural gas supplies in parts of the Yunusabad district, scheduled for November 4. The planned restrictions, affecting both residential and industrial sectors, are necessitated by critical technical maintenance and connection works carried out on high-pressure gas pipelines.
According to data provided by the "Hududgaz Poytaxt" enterprise, specialized crews will perform operations to reconnect the National Research University of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers to the main gas infrastructure. Such engineering procedures require standard operational pauses to guarantee the safety and stability of the local network.
The gas supply will be halted for a nine-hour window, running strictly from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM local time. The temporary restrictions will impact approximately 200 households residing along Bozsuv Street, alongside eight commercial and industrial consumers located within the Obod neighborhood.
Municipal services have promised to restore natural gas supplies in a gradual manner once all technical operations are successfully completed. Residents and business operators have been advised to take necessary safety precautions during the outage period.
