️ According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Uzbekistan, a total of 9,361 citizens were evacuated to their homeland from March 1 to March 5 at 10:00. This process was primarily carried out from countries where airspace remains open for civil aviation.
️ The majority of evacuated citizens arrived from Saudi Arabia – 8,114 individuals, and 1,192 from the United Arab Emirates via charter flights. Additionally, 23 citizens were brought from Iran, 25 from Bahrain, and 7 from Oman.
️ The MFA noted that with the opening of airspace in other countries of the region, evacuation measures will be promptly organized and continued. The ministry called on citizens to remain calm, avoid panic, and act prudently.
️ Furthermore, Uzbek citizens currently abroad were advised to strictly adhere to the internal rules and requirements of the respective countries and to rely only on official information disseminated by state bodies and diplomatic missions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
