️ Uzbekistan has imposed temporary restrictions on the operation of methane fuel stations, effective from March 10 at 16:00, due to a sharp drop in air temperatures. The Ministry of Energy officially announced this measure, citing increased demand for natural gas as cold and humid air masses move into the region, leading to a drop in pressure in the main gas pipelines.

️ According to the ministry's statement, these measures are being implemented primarily to ensure stable gas supply for the population and social sector facilities. Simultaneously, gas supply for social sector facilities and public transport vehicles will continue without restrictions and in a stable manner.

️ The exact duration of the restrictions was not specified, but the ministry emphasized that they will be lifted once weather conditions improve and stability is restored in the gas system. This incident highlights ongoing vulnerabilities in the country's energy supply during winter months and may cause short-term disruptions for citizens and businesses.
