President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan was presented with a detailed report on the progress of tasks set for the oil and gas industry. The meeting focused on analyzing the implementation of priority goals established on January 30, which include enhancing the efficiency of JSC "Uzbekneftgaz," increasing hydrocarbon reserves, and developing the sector based on modern technologies.

Key discussions centered on ongoing efforts to expand geological exploration, identify new deposits, improve the efficiency of existing wells, and ensure stable production volumes. The report highlighted that since the beginning of the year, 3D seismic exploration has been conducted over an area of 471 square kilometers, 11 new wells have been commissioned, repair work has been completed on 20 wells, and 5 technological measures have been implemented.

President Mirziyoyev instructed responsible officials to continue ensuring the execution of the set tasks, emphasizing the need to boost operational efficiency, optimize enterprise costs, and strengthen financial stability. These directives aim to address challenges in the sector and promote sustainable development amid evolving economic conditions.
