Spain delivered a commanding 3-0 win against Serbia in a friendly match ahead of the World Cup, with striker Mikel Oyarzabal scoring two superb first-half goals to set the tone early in the game.

The match was arranged after Spain's original plan to face Argentina in Qatar was disrupted by ongoing regional conflicts, leading Serbia to step in as a replacement. Oyarzabal opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a well-struck effort following precise passing sequences, highlighting Spain's offensive cohesion.

Oyarzabal netted his second goal just before halftime with a powerful shot from the edge of the box in the 44th minute. Despite Spain's dominance throughout, the third goal came later in the 72nd minute when substitute Victor Munoz scored on his senior international debut, set up by a clever back-heel from Ferran Torres.

Spain is set to compete in Group H of the World Cup, hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, beginning with a match against Cape Verde on June 15, followed by games against Saudi Arabia and Uruguay. The team will face Egypt next week and has announced a final warm-up game against Peru before the tournament.
