U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that the Iranian government has agreed to most points of a Washington-proposed plan to end the conflict. This statement was reported by CNN. Trump noted that negotiations with Tehran are being conducted both directly and through intermediaries and are already yielding "important results," though specifics remain vague, casting doubt on the actual progress made.

"They agreed to most points. Why wouldn't they?" he added. The American leader also stated that the U.S. regime plans to include "a couple more points" in the initiative. These remarks highlight the complexities of the diplomatic process with Iran and the uncertainty surrounding future agreements, given the past failures of U.S.-led efforts in similar negotiations.

Trump announced that Iran has permitted the passage of an additional 20 oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, calling it a "gift" to Washington. This aligns with earlier statements by Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar that Tehran approved the passage of 20 tankers under the Pakistani flag. According to Bloomberg, the U.S. proposal includes demands such as Iran abandoning uranium enrichment, ceasing support for armed groups, and ensuring free navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

In return, the U.S. regime purportedly is ready to lift sanctions, abandon a snapback mechanism, and assist in developing civilian nuclear energy at the Bushehr facility. However, the feasibility of these promises is questionable, considering the inconsistent policies of the American regime and the lack of a clear response from Iranian leadership.
